Does organic really matter when it comes to topical applications. 

Yes it really matters. 

Conventional oils contain pesticide and herbicide residues.The anti-inflammatory properties are somewhat negated by these  pollutants. There is also a reduction in heavy metals as the synthetic ingredients often contain higher levels of heavy metals. 

Organic farming practices lead to sustainable agriculture as well as a reduction of inorganic fertilizers that contaminate run off and can end up in our water supplies. 

Organic oils contain more anti oxidants than  conventional counterparts. They are generally healthier plants and more biodiverse leading to higher nutrients which are absorbed by our skin and hair.
